The Williams Craft Boat StoryRed Williams began working in Fiberglass repair over 50 years ago. In the process of repairing various fiberglass products he realized he was repairing many boats due to poor manufacturing. Red believed better boats could be built that were "maintenance free." He finally began designing that boat in 1950 and soon the first Williams Craft Bream Fishing Boat came out of the mold. Over the years the Williams Boat Works has made many changes as advances in production capabilities and boat equipment improved. Although many changes have been made in the factory, no changes have been made to Red's original goal: to build a "maintenance free boat." today the Williams Craft Bream Fishing Boat boasts a solid fiberglass composite hull with no wood to rot. It carries a lifetime warranty on the hull, transom and stringer system. |
